The original fabric that stands out as ``ne Quittez pas'' is carefully woven by hand by skilled craftsmen in a workshop in Cortaka, a city in eastern India. Hand-woven silk, which is woven slowly over time, has a firmer, richer texture than machine-woven silk. The dress is a modern update of the traditional Indian costume, the kurta, and features embroidery on the collar, placket, and sleeves for a focal point.
