This is a hand-knitted Aran pattern vest made in a village called Puno, located on the shores of Lake Titicaca at an altitude of 3,800m in Peru, South America.

Made from hand-spun alpaca blend yarn that is soft to the touch, the front features a honeycomb and herringbone pattern while the back features a cable pattern, with different knitting patterns on the front and back.
No machines are used for linking or any other processes, everything is made by hand.

There are two snap closures at the back so you can wear it backwards.
By shifting the neckline back, it can also be worn as a short V-neck vest.
