These silk rib leggings are perfect for when the seasons change, when you need to protect yourself from air conditioning, or when you're prone to feeling unwell.

Not only in winter, but our feet can be cold without us even realizing it. If the cold continues, we can easily catch a cold, or feel a bit tired and heavy. That's why some people wear tights or spats under their pants to protect themselves from the cold. But in winter, the heating is too strong indoors, so it can get too hot and stuffy... and sweat can't be dissipated properly, which can actually cause the feet to get cold.

These rib leggings are made with a generous amount of silk, which not only wicks away sweat, but also feels soft and fluffy against the skin. There is no unnecessary tightness, and you will feel as comfortable as a feather when you wear them.

It can be worn as an inner layer under pants on cold days, or worn on its own to coordinate with this year's trendy long dresses and tight skirts.

Carefully designed with different knitting patterns for each section
The stomach and waist area is made with a neat knit fabric, while the thighs and below are made with a stretchy ribbed knit fabric. The area from the waist down is knitted on a separate machine, and then joined to the waist when completed. The ankle area is made with a soft, loose knit fabric that fits snugly to prevent cold air from entering.

The leggings are made by combining parts that have been carefully crafted separately over a long period of time, so they stretch well and fit comfortably. Silk has excellent moisture absorption and dissipation properties, making it ideal for preventing the cold during seasons with large temperature differences.

An original fitted waist created through repeated prototyping
The waistband does not use regular flat elastic, but instead uses a special knitting technique to achieve outstanding elasticity. It does not dig into your stomach and has a gentle fit without feeling too tight.

It was actually quite a challenge to complete this waistband. There were many different types of stretch yarn, and I made them, tried them on, modified them, tried them on again, and adjusted them again. I made adjustments over and over again, and finally created a waistband that fit perfectly.

Because it is a machine that has been used for a long time, it cannot be forced to do too much, just like humans. It can only knit at a slow speed, so it takes about four times as long as a normal machine. That is why we were able to create the ideal fit waist with excellent elasticity.
